Abstract

Sebuah produksi video musik melibatkan pihak lain bisa menjadi opsi yang menguntungkan. Karena video musik pastinya melibatkan dua bidang yang berbeda, yaitu bidang audio (musik) dan bidang visual (video). Untuk saling memenuhi kedua bidang yang dibutuhkan, coproduction deals diterapkan. Coproduction deals berpusat pada hubungan timbal balik antara pihak yang terlibat dengan tujuan saling menguntungkan keduanya. Penulis sebagai produser mengimplementasikan coproduction deals dengan pihak komposer lagu Ketika Ku Bertemu ke dalam bentuk kontrak perjanjian kerja sama yang dibuat secara tertulis. Coproduction deals terlihat dalam pasal 3.1, pasal 3.2, pasal 6, dan pasal 7. Berkat adanya pemanfaatan coproduction deals, kedua pihak bisa saling memenuhi kebutuhan masing-masing dengan tujuan berjalan lancarnya produksi video musik Ketika Ku Bertemu. Hadirnya pasal-pasal tersebut juga menunjang proses produksi dari awal hingga akhir karena bersifat mengikat dua pihak sehingga kewajiban dan hak berhasil dipenuhi oleh setiap pihak
