Abstract
There are so many variety of literature in Indonesia, one of them works in the entry of Islam is Javanese almanac (primbon Jawa). It is used to estimating an event. Javanese almanac consists of character divination, events, myths, and also prohibitions in the Java community (taboos/ pamali), even we can found the use of it in determining the date of election in Indonesia. And in this final project, writer will use the taboos/ pamali from Javanese almanac as a source of story writing. Titimangsa itself tells the story of a single woman aged 29 years old who asked her mother not to break the taboos of the marriage, a husband who secretly kept butchering chickens when it had been banned by his pregnant wife, and also a grandmother who keep prenjak (kind of birds) as a sign for her daughter to go back soon. The writer uses a qualitative research methodology to literature studies which further through the creative process will be embodied in a feature length script. Literature studies used to build the world of the story in this feature length scriptwriting techniques and theory searching. In this report, the taboos from Javanese almanac will be used for content. While scriptwriting techniques are using multi-plots that help the writer to present various point of view on their believe. With the element of taboos, the content of Javanese almanac combined with multi-plot, readesrs should be able to see different views.
