Abstract

Internships pogram was done at PT KIA Indonesia Motors, a company engaged in the automotive field, and was placed in the acounting and tax department as staff. Internship progam started from July 2, 2012 until September 7, 2012. The tasks to be performed in the accounting & tax department, doing a recapitulation include tax invoice in and tax invoice out, recapitulate the cut evidence received, financial reporting, and coordinating and controling the planning, reporting and payment of corporate tax liability to be efficient, accurate, precise time, and the according with applicable government regulations. At the time of internship tasks done is to input data into the e-SPT, matching the data, and perform computerized recapitulatation. Obstacles encountered during an internship program is the uncompleteness of data when performing the task so somemetimes the implementation of the task delayed, the lack of accuracy when performing a task given can inflict to the mistake when inputing data or when performing recapitulation, and late data recived in center from the branch
