Abstract

The internship was conducted at PT Media Dreyasa Komunitama in Finance & Accounting division. During the internship, the tasks performed were filing and packing business transaction, Matching business transaction, to record the transaction into General Journal, posting to General Ledger, make a petty cash disbursement, recap the petty cash, prepare a budgeting for TV program, evaluate a budgeting for event planning, make a project cost, evaluate project costs, input assets to equipment list, prepare the completeness of event. The main problem of this company were unclear writing and had a nominal differences on business transaction, incorrect of project cost reporting such as miscalculation or mistyped, lack of knowledge of TV program details to make budgeting for TV program. It needed the solutions to solve those problems such as checked business transaction with expenditure report, asked to senior staff to confirm the calculation of invoice, to be more focus and more detail to make a good project cost, and also asked the information that TV program needed to someone who has an experience working in TV industry
