Abstract

Tax has a very important role for every country development, because the income from tax are used to fund every routine expenses nor country expenses itself Therefore, people's awareness and activeness are really needed to help the country by paying their tax. Nowadays, Indonesian's taxation system is using self assessment system which giving the trust for the taxpayer to calculate and report their own tax calculation by filling the SPT (Notification Letter). The taxpayers are need to capable to fill SPT correctly, because they need to be responsible for the value that was filled on SPT. The main purpose of this report is to find out the income tax per annum at Taxation Office Pratama Kosambi. The process of SPT is a series of activities which including recording and survey for SPT letter. By doing practical work at Taxation Office Pratama Kosambi, the writer get some new experiences and knowledge that would be implemented in the field of taxation after the writer work, and hopefully the process of the notification letter will be getting much better in the future
