Abstract
In HO 555- Ethical Business Management, students are expected to comprehend the theoretical concept and basic knowledge of ethics, moral, and values. These basic philosophies will be crucial in learning and implementing quality service and quality management in hospitality and tourism business. From comprehending the theoretical concept, they will dig the history and development of ethics in business landscape so then the students will be able to analyze the relationship and implementation of ethics management within the organization, technology development and globalization. From study cases of ethics issues in divisions of an organization, such as in marketing, HRM, and finance, students are expected to be able think critically, make a sound decision making, give an effective problem solution, and demonstrate leadership qualities in holding up ethics, moral and values high on their own. At the end of the course, students are going to be assigned with two different tasks. First task includes the group work for article publication in mass media about the study case they analyze, and the second task includes another group work for onsite interview with a growing SME business owner and assisting them in implementing the work ethic in their business.
