Abstract

Great Eastern Life Company is the oldest insurance company which centered in Singapore. One of the routine program at Great Eastern Singapore is the internship program for college students. In this internship program, Great Eastern share the benefit and importance of financial planning, as well as how insurance can be used to protect our family and ourself. Although financial planning can be used for any kind of objectives, writer focus more on the short term objective because these are what we faced most of the times. Eventhought financial planning is one of the essentials in modern life, people still don’t understand the benefit and underestimate the power from planning their financials to meet their short term objectives
