Abstract
The internship was conducted at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara in the business incubator division. During the internship, the position of the writer was as a business analyst in the development of hospital information system. The client was Rumah Sakit Izza Cikampek, where the owner suspected that fraud practices happened in his hospital. During the internship process, there were some difficulties, such as the absence of Standard Operating Procedure in the hospital, the rejection from hospital staffs for a new system, and some changesfrom the hospital owner regarding the new system. To prevent fraud, the hospital needed to develop its business process to improve their internal control. A good business process not only would help the company to prevent fraud practices in the future, but increase effectiveness and efficiency in the business process.
