Abstract

The internship was conducted at Winnindo Business Consult in accounting and tax division. During the internship, the task performed were make journal voucher (Journal Memorial Invoice, Journal Memorial, Bank Statement, and cash expenditure), input voucher into MYOB accounting software, make rekaps PPh Pasal 23, review Value Added Tax (VAT), fill Tax Payment Slip, fill Tax Return PPh Pasal 23, and input tax invoice into e-SPT system. There’s a problem in the work performed, which client data (includes voucher number isn’t registered and missing receipt or bill) are incomplete and not neatly record transactions. The company were expected to provide advices to clients to improve the internal control especially in data storage to reduce data loss. Good documentation procedures can help company to prevent double recording transactions and to ensure recording transaction that contributes the accuracy and reliability of accounting records.
