Abstract

Aston Cengkareng City Hotel & Conference Center merupakan salah satu anak perusahaan dari Archipelago International. Bergerak dalam bidang hospitality, Archipelago International terus berusaha untuk mengembangkan bisnisnya. Setiap tahun, jumlah orang yang menginap di hotel berbintang di DKI Jakarta terus meningkat. Hal yang sama juga terjadi dengan jumlah hotel di DKI Jakara. Fenomena tersebut menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi Aston Cengkareng City Hotel & Conference Center. Semakin banyaknya kompetitor, segala aktivitas Public Relations dalam usaha untuk terus eksis dalam industri perhotelan dinilai perlu untuk dilakukan. Setelah melakukan praktek kerja magang, penulis mendapatkan kesimpulan, yaitu segala bentuk komunikasi ke dalam maupun ke luar memberikan kontribusi dalam menentukan kesuksesan dari Aston Cengkareng City Hotel & Conference Center. Customer relationship management, event management, dan media relations merupakan beberapa contoh konsep public relations yang telah dan sedang diterapkan.
