Abstract

PT Hexpharm Jaya Laboratories (later know as Hexpharm Jaya) is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company in Indonesia. Established in 1971, Hexpharm Jaya engaged in the field of development, production, and marketing of pharmaceuticals. Hexpharm Jaya produces high quaity product in Generic and Branded. The company is a directly-owned subsidiary company of PT Kalbe Farma, the largest publiclylisted pharmaceutical company in Indonesia. Activities in process of payment and cashier are important, due to the fact that those activities directly affect cash outflow, which will give directly impact on the quality of production and company’s revenue. PT Hexpharm Jaya Laboratories gives the opportunity for university students to get knowledge, skills, and experience in the company through an internship program. During this internship, the writer believes that the process of payment and cashier require accuracy and systematic process to ensure the continuity of financial management in the company.
