Abstract

In the middle of era globalization and increased of operating costs. Employers should be able to set up a company with a good strategy in order to survive and compete with rival companies. Similarly, faced by PT. Dynapack Indonesia as a leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging in Indonesia, they must be able to survive the challenges facing. The strategy that used by PT. Dynapack Indonesia to maintain price with rising costs is to do a cost reduction strategy. Cost Reduction Strategy definition itself is a permanent cost reduction strategies without reducing the quality of the resulting product. which is expected a reduction in the costs incurred do not affect consumer purchases of the company's products. PT. Dynapack Indonesia has provided an opportunity for authors to be able to learn how the application of cost reduction strategy in the company and the authors believe that the use of this strategy is a good idea in facing the current market.
