Abstract
Transportation is a primary need that must be fulfilled to facilitate various activities and routines in any part of the world, including Indonesia. Although there are still many people who prefer to move by using private vehicles, public transportation is now equally attractive to the people of Indonesia. One such transportation is a service that uses technology in its use, namely online motorcycle and online taxi. With this online motorcycle and taxi service, online drivers certainly present an interesting story about their daily lives, background, and reasons for being a driver. Through the glasses of sharing economy, this journalistic work can be useful to increase people's appreciation to online drivers and foster empathy when reading their stories. In addition, this work can also contribute to the world of Indonesian journalism, namely in the form of photo book works in the form of photo stories whose variety is not too much in Indonesia. The process of making this work is based on the elements of the picture and narrative text which will then become a photo story for each driver. The making of a work that takes approximately six months requires shooting skills and a good way of speaking so that this work becomes a continuous photo story. This journalistic work in the form of photo stories tells the story of four online drivers in the eyes of the sharing economy business model. In this work, they tell their story of each driver about their main reasons for being online drivers, life backgrounds, and also their thoughts about the sharing economy business model.
