Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang kian pesat komunikasi menjadi sangat mudah, mulai dari email, voice call bahkan video call. Salah satu media pendukung yang paling digemari masyarakat adalah smartphone. Smartphone sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang digunakan oleh masyarakat. Sayangnya kebanyakan orang masih sangat awam dalam memilih smartphoneyang digunakan Dalam penelitian ini, akan dibuat sistem rekomendasi pembelian smartphone menggunakan metode The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS).Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sistem ini adalah: java, dengan menggunakan database SQLite. Dari hasil survei yangdilakukan dengan metode skala likert dan Cronbach Alpha, aplikasi mendapatkan koefisien realibilitas atau koefisien alpha sebesar 0,55
