Abstract
Banks are intermediaries financial institutions with very important role for the economy of a country. Healthy bank is a bank that able to generate an optimal profit. The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Third Party Funds (DPK) towards Bank Profitability which is measured by Return On Asset (ROA). The sample in this research were 31 bank focused on conventional bank listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period of 2014-2016 which is published financial report from 1 January until 31 December and has been audited, published a financial report using rupiah as reporting currency, have non performing loan information and positive income before tax. The sample in this research was based on purposive sampling. The data used in this research is secondary data. The testing method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The result of this research were: (1) Capital Adequacy Ratio has significant effect to Bank Profitability, (2) Non Performing Loan has significant effect to Bank Profitability, (3) Loan to Deposit Ratio has no significant effect to Bank Profitability, (4) Third Party Funds has significant effect to Bank Profitability.
