Abstract
The objective of this research to test, examine, and to provide empirical evidence to the influence of information system user ability, user involvement, top management support, and training and education programs on the performance of accounting information system. The object in this research is manufacturing company in Jakarta and Tangerang that use accounting information system. Data used in this study was primary data, id est: questionnaires. The respondents in this study were 129 who are employees which use accounting information system. Data analysis techniques in this study using multiple linear regression. The results of this research are: (1) information system user ability had no an influence toward the performance of accounting information system, (2) user involvement had an positive influence toward the performance of accounting information system, (3) top management support had an positive influence toward the performance of accounting information system, and (4) training and education programs had an positive influence toward the performance of accounting information system.
