Abstract

Di dalam film Di Balik 98 terdapat berbagai macam tokoh dari latar belakang yang berbeda. Setiap tokoh dalam film Di Balik 98 melihat peristiwa Mei 98 dari perspektif yang berbeda pula. Penelitian ini fokus pada pandangan/perspektif tiga tokoh (Diana, Daniel, dan Soeharto). Terdapat teori-teori pendukung seperti: propaganda, naratif, acting, dan mise en scene yang berguna untuk menunjang kegiatan analisis konstruksi naratif film Di Balik 98. Penelitian ini melakukan perbandingan (secara komprehensif) perspektif tiga tokoh tersebut dengan datadata yang ditemukan dari sumber literatur pustaka terkait Mei 98.
