Abstract

Many stores run their sales system manually. Problems faced by shops like this are wasted stock in warehouses. Wasted stock in warehouses happened due to several factors including the number of uncertain consumer demand and the manager's decision is not based on precise calculations. In accordance with these problems, the authors take the title of "Design And Build Sales Forecasting Application Using Exponential Smoothing Methods (Case Study Toko Maju Motor)". The purpose of this thesis is to create applications that can predict the amount of sales of goods in future periods that will be helpful to determine the amount of goods that must be prepared each month.
