Abstract

Taxes has very important role for development country, because the income from the tax are used to support the economy, infrastructure, health, public services, etc. And then, self-assesment system policy authorize tax payers to calculate, paying, and report the own tax. Therefore, people’s awarness and activeness are really to help the country by paying their tax. By doing practical work at Taxation Office Pratama Kosambi, the writer get some work experiences and knowledge that can be used in the filed of taxation after the writer work. The main purpose of this report is to find about a series of tasks and job description in Extensification and Counseling Section at Taxation Office Pratama Kosambi. Tax Extensification Department tasks consist of searching taxpayers location and potential taxpayers location trough Geotagging, provide tax ID number (NPWP), provide billing code, give counseling to a new taxpayers about policy of paying taxes, contact taxpayers about tax payment, recap the result of field research (canvassing), and inspection of corporate taxpayers Notification Letters (SPT).
