Abstract

The internship was conducted at PT Asuransi Sinar Mas in the Accounting & Tax divisiion. During the internship, the tasks performed were preparing recapitulation of income tax article 23, preparing recapitulation of income tax article 4 verse 2 , creating billing id for tax report, exporting csv for reporing income tax article 23,creating withholding tax slip for income tax article 23 and income tax article 4 verse 2, creating tax payment slips for tax reporting, preparing recapitulation of nominative list for entertainment cost,preparing recapitulation and checking of physical document in company archives for pending transaction, preparing recapitulation and sending tax payment slips of income tax article 21 to all insurance agents, counting and matching of income tax article 26 for reinsurance company that affiliates with PT Asuransi Sinar Mas and inputing Monthly Tax Report of income tax article 21 to e-filling, During the internship, most of the task can be executed properly. Although there were some problem found during the intership, for example the physical document from the branch company for reporting tax such as invoice and tax invoice were missing. To solve the problem, tax and accounting staff should ask the branch manager for the documents and request the branch manager to find the document and complete the missing document as fast as possible.
