Abstract

Berubahnya Jakarta sebagai kota metropolitan menyebabkan tersingkirnya budaya-budaya asli Jakarta, atau biasa disebut Betawi. Salah satunya adalah batik Betawi. Ketidakpopuleran batik Betawi disebabkan masih sedikitnya motif yang menjadi ciri khas Betawi itu sendiri Pada tugas akhir ini penulis akan mendesain motif batik Betawi, yang sesuai dengan objek-objek ciri khas Betawi. Sehingga bisa berguna sebagai investasi budaya Betawi dan mempertahankan kebudayaan Betawi agar tidak hilang dalam gemerlap metropolitan
