Abstract

Economic Growth in Indonesia currently continues to grow and experience growth. With economic growth, the standard of living of the people will indirectly increase. Increased standard of living, giving people the opportunity to conduct investment activities. In Indonesia, the productive age is dominated by millennial generation. Millennials are the generation born in 1980-2000 or those aged 17-37 years. In fact, there are still many Millennials out there that don't have good financial management strategies and plans such as investing. As the next generation, it is important for millennials to have an investment strategy or good financial management for their future. In Indonesia, there are several investment options and investment platforms, one of which is Pegadaian with the Gold Savings Program. Gold investment is one investment that tends to be low risk and profitable. In this study, researchers want to know whether the Theory of Planned Behavior (Attitude, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavior Control), Trust, Corporate Image, Perceived Risk and Saving Habits has an influence on Intention to Savings, especially on millennials generation in conducting gold saving activities in the Pegadaian as a a form of investment choice due to the low number of millennials in Pegadaian. The theoretical model of this study uses 7 hypotheses which were tested using the Multiple Regression Test, with the type of Conclusive Research type Descriptive Research, using non-probability sampling method with judgmental method, the sample in this study were 205 respondents who were millennials generation and domiciled in southern Tangerang , already working, has a minimum income of Rp. 500,000, - / month, knows Pegadaian and Pegadaian gold savings programs. The results of this study, showed that the variables Attitude, Subjective Norms, Perceived Behavior Control, Trust and Perceived Risk did not have a positive influence on Intention to Savings. Whereas Corporate Image and Saving Habits have a positive influence on Intention to Savings
