Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat dan ketergantungan masyarakat pada internet mendorong jurnalisme tradisional untuk berubah dan melahirkan versi digital dari media cetaknya. Walau begitu, terdapat media-media massa yang lahir sebagai media online, salah satunya MerahPutih.com. MerahPutih.com adalah media online di bawah PT Merah Putih Media yang menghadirkan informasi-informasi aktual, menarik, dan dapat dinikmati oleh semua kalangan. Penulis melaksanakan kerja magang selama 60 hari di MerahPutih.com di bawah divisi Hiburan & Gaya Hidup sebagai reporter feature. Di MerahPutih.com, reporter desk Hiburan & Gaya Hidup bertugas untuk menulis artikel-artikel soft news dan feature dengan teknik penyaduran serta liputan. Berbagai proses dari rapat, riset, koordinasi, wawancara, penulisan naskah, penulisan artikel, editing, hingga pengumpulan dilakukan untuk menghasilkan artikel-artikel tersebut. Dengan melaksanakan kerja magang di MerahPutih.com, penulis dapat mengetahui proses kerja menjadi seorang reporter feature di sebuah media online. Menjadi seorang reporter feature di MerahPutih.com memberikan penulis pengalaman berharga menjadi seorang jurnalis terutama di masa pandemi. Semua pengalaman yang didapatkan akan menjadi sangat berguna saat penulis akan bekerja di masa mendatang.

Giving birth to a digital version of its printed media. Even so, there are some mass media that were born as an online media, one of which is MerahPutih.com. MerahPutih.com is an online media under company PT Merah Putih Media that provides important and interesting informations with actuality and to be enjoyed by all. The author carried out a 60- day internship at MerahPutih.com as a feature reporter under one of MerahPutih.com's division, Entertainment & Lifestyle. At MerahPutih.com, every reporter under Entertainment & Lifestyle division are required to write soft news and feature articles using various techniques like rewriting and interviews. Various processes from meetings, coordinations, interviews, writing, editing, to submitions were carried out to produce these articles. Through this internship, the author is able to truly experience being a feature reporter in an online media especially in the middle of a pandemic. All these experiences will be very usefull to guide the author through work life in the future
