Abstract
The large population of Indonesia and spread over seven (7) big islands and thirty-four (34) provinces, makes every pharmaceutical industry player compete to become a market leader, either by improving the quality of products or services provided. PT Enseval Putera Megatrading is a company engaged in distribution, logistics, sales and marketing. This company was formed with the aim of separating the distribution function from the marketing and production functions of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. This study aims to determine the effect of implementing warehouse waste reduction practices on warehouse operational performance and distribution performance, as well as the implications for business performance. This quantitative study used manual questionnaires with 39 respondents. In conducting testing, the hypothesis in this study uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with SmartPLS 3.0 software. This study shows that warehouse waste reduction practices on business performance and warehouse operational performance on business performance do not have a significant relationship.
