Abstract

Industrial Placement is a short-term work experience taken by university students with professional development. The Industrial Placement Program let the students be better and develop soft skills and hard skills. The goals are to make the students ready to work after graduated and have the requirement to work in the real industry. And, the objective of this Industrial Placement Program is to build the ability of the students in the housekeeping department, particularly in cleaning areas in daily, weekly, and monthly. Also, dealing with the visitor, guest complaints, daily routines cleaning, special project, etc. The program is significant because understudies can learn more about housekeeping in the real industry and experience point by point. Indonesia keeps on observing an upward direction to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Indonesian government initiated the "New Normal" strategy including the required consistency of cover use and social removing. While the public authority has lifted limitations for social activity, measures stay set up restricting huge scope social affairs and travel. Schools and huge public social event regions likewise still shut, anyway, open travel and admittance to basic administrations including the supermarkets are generally accessible with the health protocol. Nevertheless, Universitas Multimedia Nusantara offered two options to the students either by taking Video Lerning Project or UMN Dormitory as the fulfillment of the Industrial Placement Program. This report is composed as a fractional satisfaction in the course educational plan and can give detailed data about what kind of exercises were performed or how the genuine business functions for the readers. The report also visualized the SOP used in the UMN Dormitory that developed the writer during the Industrial Placement. Hopefully, The report can be a reference or correlation for the course educational program on the Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, especially for Hotel Operations Program.
