Abstract

Industrial placement is workplace based learning where students gain practical skills related to their course of study. They allow the students to training and gain experiences to prepare themselves for the workplace and develop their skills. Due to the pandemic this year, the students mostly suggested to do industrial placement at the UMN Dormitory. This industrial placement began on July 7, 2020 until October 23,2020. This program is mandatory in order to gain real hotel industry experience detailed practice in Housekeeping Department. Due to pandemic, student also need to follow the protocol by the rules, such as always wear mask and bring their own hand sanitizer. This industrial placement take a big role for Hotel Operations students because the student will be able to gain real industry experiences and will be useful for the next industrial placement that will be held on 6th semester. This report written to meet curriculum standards and give the detail information about the activities that are perform by the writer within 4 months in Dormitory UMN, hopefully this report will be reference for the course curriculum in the campus.
