Abstract
Van Der Horst didirikan di Belanda oleh pendirinya, Dr. Hendrick Van Der Horst pada tahun 1935 dan pada tahun 1993, perusahaan patungan perusahaan antara Van Der Horst Singapura dan Van Der Horst Indonesia didirikan pada Tangerang, Banten, Indonesia. Disini peserta magang mendapatkan pengalaman yang cukup menarik karena bisa ikut serta dalam melakukan pemasaran secara langsung dan dapat melihat bagaimana suatu perusahaan menerapkan strategi direct Marketing. Dengan menggunakan strategi direct Marketing yang di dalamnnya terdapat direct mail, mail order, direct selling, dan telemarketing. Tugas utama selama praktek kerja magang yaitu sebagai direct Marketing yang berfokus dalam melakukan peningkatan pemasaran bagi PT.SSE-VDHI.
