Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh current ratio, total asset turnover, dan debt to equity ratio terhadap return on assets pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2017-2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan data sekunder dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2017-2020 secara berturut-turut, menerbitkan laporan keuangan tahunan per 31 Desember yang telah diaudit oleh auditor independen pada tahun 2017-2020 secara berturut-turut, menyajikan laporan keuangan dengan mata uang rupiah selama 2017-2020, dan memiliki laba positif secara berturut-turut pada tahun 2017 hingga tahun 2020. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) Current Ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return on Assets, (2) Total Asset Turnover berpengaruh positif terhadap Return on Assets, (3) Debt to Equity Ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return on Assets, dan (4) Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, dan Debt to Equity Ratio secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap Return on Assets.
