Abstract

Background di dalam sebuah animasi adalah lapisan gambar yang ditempatkan di paling belakang dalam sebuah scene. Lapisan ini digunakan sebagai tempat dimana karakter akan ditempatkan di dalam sebuah animasi. Ketika perancangannya ada beberapa hal yang harus di perhatikan. Salah satunya adalah teknik menggambar yang di sebut Perspektif. Teknik gambar perspektif ini digunakan untuk memberikan dimensi sehingga dapat mendukung penceritaan. Teknik ini juga memiliki beberapa jenis yang dapat dipilih dan digunakan untuk mencapai hasil yang diinginkan dalam perancangan background. Pembahasan kali ini akan menjelaskan bagaimana teknik gambar perspektif diterapkan ke dalam perancangan background scene tiga dan dua belas di film animasi pendek 2D berjudul Altor.
