Abstract

Laporan magang ini membahas tentang bagaimana penulis merancang dan memproduksi video BTS (Behind the Scene) dalam production house Summerland Films. Maksud dan tujuan penulis magang di Summerland Films adalah untuk memperdalam ilmu sinematografi, memperdalam pengetahuan bagaimana proses industri film bekerja dan sekaligus membangun koneksi dengan orang-orang yang sudah terjun di industri film. Isi laporan magang ini didapat dari pengalaman yang dialami penulis selama magang. Penulis akan menjelaskan bagaimana alur kerja penulis di Summerland Films, mulai dari mencari video referensi BTS, membaca script, membuat konsep, asistensi konsep kepada direktur utama, mencocokkan setting dengan editor, mengambil footage, dan menyerahkan footage kepada editor. Selama proses magang di Summerland Films selama 6 bulan, penulis menemukan kendala sekaligus memberikan solusi dari segi faktor sumber daya manusia, faktor alur kerja, dan faktor operasional kerja yang berhubungan dengan jobdesc penulis.
