Abstract

Kompas TV adalah salah satu televisi swasta berita nasional di Indonesia yang bernaung di bawah Kompas Gramedia. Kompas TV mulai mengudara secara luas pada 9 September 2011 hingga saat ini yang sudah tersebar ke lebih dari 100 kota di Indonesia. Penulis berkesempatan untuk praktik kerja magang sebagai desainer grafis di divisi News Graphic Kompas TV setelah mendapatkan beasiswa dari CHR Kompas Gramedia. Berada di bawah arahan Reza Chandra Andika selaku mentor dan Kordinator News Graphic Kompas TV, penulis melaksanakan magang sejak 1 Februari hingga 30 April 2018. Dengan total kerja selama 48 hari atau selama 362 jam kerja. Penulis telah mengerjakan berbagai proyek desain harian berita dengan total lebih dari 50 hasil desain. Proyek yang dikerjakan umumnya terkait dengan grafik dan kolase berita. Selain dari sisi desain, penulis juga mendapatkan pengalaman bekerja di perusahaan besar yang berasas kekeluargaan.
