Abstract
As part of the requirement for a bachelor degree at the University, an internship program was conducted at PT Bank DBS Indonesia, a foreign bank that is also a branch of DBS Singapore. The objectives of this internship program are to provide students the opportunity to test their interest in a particular career before permanent commitments are made, develop skills in the application of theory to practical work situations, and it also increase a student’s sense of responsibility. During the internship, the main task was to do testing according to the given test script. The purpose of this testing was to ensure that the new system can work properly and meet the user needs. The testing projects done during the internship program are limitation testing, adjust clearing limit testing, testing for the new nostro, finacle optimization project, and CIF mandatory field testing. In addition to the main work, there are also some additional work which is related to quality assurance and system. Some problems emerged during the testing which related to the system used. For example: the system could not get response from server, the menu cannot work properly, etc. An effective communication is needed between the testing team, the user and the DBS Singapore’s IT division to resolve the problem so the testing can be completed on time
