Abstract

The internship was conducted at a manufacturing company name PT Surya Toto Indonesia, taking the position in accounting and finance division. During the internship, the task were mainly about accounting cycle which is identification about account payable transactions with the period from June until August 2013. There were also tasks about recapitulation of client entertainment expenses, checking daily cash and bank position, and rearrange sales receipts and medical expenses according to the transaction date for transactions in June 2013 until August 2013. Moreover, a correlation test for accounts payable also performed from January until December 2012. All documents needed were obtained from the accounting & finance manager and staff. After all the tasks were done, they all were submitted to the accounting & finance manager and staff to be reviewed. In the internship period, there was a problem faced. There was difference between receipt, invoice, delivery order, tax invoice, purchase order, and goods receipt slip/service entry sheet. The company was expected to be more spesific and cleared in explaining the procedures to the suppliers about filling up the billing documents
