Abstract

As part of the requirement for a bachelor degree at the University, an internship project was conducted at Mulyamin Sensi Suryanto dan Lianny Public Accountant Firm as a member of Moore Stephens International Limited Company . The project was conducted within the Audit Division of the company. During the internship, the main task was to provide financial statements audit service which end in June 2012 for PT Ivo Mas Tunggal. There were some audit procedures which were done such as tax recapitulation, make the confirmation letter, vouching, footing and cross footing. The second task was to check audit report for the company that have already audited by Mulyamin Sensi Suryanto and Lianny Public Accountant Firm The constraints during internships like difficulty to get data and the given data was not complete. Another problem that arises is respondents did not reply the confirmation letter, so auditor did not get completed audit evidence. The good documentation procedure can help company to ensure timely recording transaction that contributes the accuracy and reliability of accounting records
