Abstract

The internship was conducted at Kompas Gramedia in Financial System Development (FSD) Department. During the internship, the main task was about making Standard Operating Procedure which was begun by doing fact finding, making Global Procedure, making Detail Procedure, making Flowchart, doing confirmation, editing Global Procedure, editing Detail Procedure, and editing Flowchart. Every task that had been done along intership term was related to Kompas Gramedia, University of Multimedia Nusantara, and PT Transito Adiman Jati. There were some difficulties when doing the tasks such as difficulty to find the amount of documents that are used in procedures, undetailed Detail Procedure, lack of some words that are always used in Financial System Development Department, lack of confident when it came to do fact finding and confirmation, uncompleted data, and it was really hard to schedule appointment for confirmation, lacking of procedure information, difficulty to determine which symbols that should be used for flowchart, and problem in presenting flowchart. Every difficulties were already solved by doing some solutions like checking documents in FSD to know exacly the amount of documents, rechecking Global Procedure, finding the meaning of the words by looking for it in another procedure, ask for confirmation to the one who’s responsible about the procedure. There were also other solutions that had been done to solve other difficulties such as asking for accompanion when it came to do fact finding and confirmation, doing confirmation to get more data, make schedule from long time before the day comes, asks for more explanation to the one who’s responsible to procedure, determine the flowchart symbol by searching in google or books, and dividing flowchart into 2 pages.
