Abstract

Procurement atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah purchasing merupakan divisi yang bertanggung jawab untuk memperoleh bahan baku, suku cadang, persediaan, dan jasa yang diperlukan untuk memproduksi suatu produk atau memberikan layanan (Stevenson, 2009). System Application and Product In Data Processing adalah suatu software yang dikembangkan untuk mendukung suatu organisasi dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya secara lebih efisien dan efektif (Pengantar SAP, 2003). PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper (PT. IKPP) merupakan sebuah perusahaan industri yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur bubur kertas dengan berbagai produk dan kemasan kertas terpadu. Perusahaan ini merupakan penyedia kertas terbesar di Indonesia. System Application and Product In Data Processing yang ada di PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper berpengaruh positif karena menciptakan proses kerja yang efektif dan efisien. Perbedaan terlihat dari proses pembelian yang sesuai dengan prosedur atau flowchart yang ada dan dengan waktu yang singkat.
