Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh product knowledge training dan on the job training terhadap employee performance. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah karyawan tingkat sales counter yang bekerja di PT Wellcomm Ritelindo Pratama di Tangerang. Metode penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah probability sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 orang di wilayah Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisi data adalah analisis regresi sederhana dan data diolah menggunakan program SPSS versi 20. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Product knowledge training berpengaruh positif terhadap employee performance maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa HA1 diterima atau menerima hipotesis alternatif, (2) On the job training berpengaruh negatif terhadap employee performance maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa HA2 ditolak atau menolak hipotesis alternatif.
