Abstract
TANGERANG - UMN melalui Fakultas Seni dan Desain mengadakan kuliah tamu bersama Prof. Jae-Mo Koo dari Korea University of Media Arts (KUMA) pada 15 Agustus 2025. Dalam sesi berjudul “The Art and Industry of Korean Cinema”, Koo membahas perkembangan industri film Korea, elemen visual dan emosional dalam sinema Korea, serta strategi yang membentuk pertumbuhan K-drama dan perfilman Korea sejak era Presiden Kim Dae-Jung. Koo juga membagikan pengalaman profesionalnya, menekankan pentingnya pencahayaan, pengambilan gambar, nilai budaya lokal, dan konsep “think globally, act locally” dalam produksi film. Ia mendorong mahasiswa untuk memperluas wawasan melalui pengalaman di dalam dan luar kampus agar memahami proses kreatif industri film secara lebih mendalam.
