Abstract
This research aims to determine the factors that can improve the performance of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) used in Hotel and Restaurants. The test uses four factors that affect the performance of AIS namely, personal technical ability, top management support, user training program and the quality of information. The object in this research is the Hotel and Restaurant in Tangerang City. The data used in this research is a questionnaire that is the primary data. The sample is determined by convenience sampling. The results showed that the top management support and information quality significantly influence the performance of SIA partially, while personal technical ability and user training program doesn’t has significant effect on the performance of the SIA. In addition, the results of this results of this study indicate that the ability of personal technique, the support of top management, user training program and the quality information significant effect simultaneously.
