Abstract

Brilianto merupakan brand yang ingin melestarikan budaya Palembang melalui desain pakaiannya. Brand ini menggunakan kain jumputan dengan motif khas Palembang. Namun, brand ini masih kurang dalam menunjukkan citra tersebut. Maka dilakukan perancangan ulang brand identity Brilianto. Dimulai dengan mencari data melalui wawancara, penyebaran kuisioner, studi eksisting dan studi pustaka. Setelah data didapatkan maka dilakukan analisis data. Data yang telah dianalisis kemudian menjadi dasar untuk brainstorming untuk penentuan dari konsep visual. Hasil dari brainstorming ditemukan 3 kata kunci yaitu Palembang, Modern, dan Authentic. 3 kata tersebut menghasilkan big idea berupa Seeking an Authentic Palembang Heritage Modernly. setelah konsep visual didapat dilanjutkan dengan mencari referensi visual dari 3 kata kunci tersebut kemudian perancangan logo berbentuk geometris, sederhana dan mewah untuk merepresentasikan 3 kata kunci tersebut. Terakhir, implementasi logo ke berbagai media seperti stationary, packaging, dan media promosi.
