Abstract

The internship was conducted at Accounting Clinic as an accounting and tax staff. Accounting Clinic is an accounting consulting firm which supported by professional and experienced partners. During the internship, the tasks that were done were Inputting journal of Sales, purchase, Petty Cash, receive payments, operational expenses, Inputting tax article 22 transactions to e-SPT, making recapitulation of inventory, Sales, Petty Cash transactions, making e-billing and tax invoice. These tasks were done for PT DJU, PT CIP, PT TSO, PT KLK, PT IMJ, PT MTR, PT TTM, PT IGM, PT KSM, and PT TWOD. During the internship, there was a constraint which was some item buying price was not provided by clients while making recapitulation of inventory that made it difficult to calculate the cost of goods sold. The solution to this problem was report to senior accounting staff. Suggestion for client company is to prepare and provide complete information in order doing task to generate reports becomes easier and faster.
