Abstract

Peranan video sangat besar bagi kemajuan ilmu pendidikan, namun banyak sekolah atau perguruan tinggi lainnya tidak paham bagaimana cara membuat video edukasi yang efektif untuk para pelajar. Hal ini mendorong penelitian proses produksi film milik David Bordwell untuk membuat sebuah video edukasi yang efektif demi menarik perhatian pelajar ketika menonton video tersebut. Melalui poin yang disampaikan oleh Mosah Ajloni dan Mitchell O'Toole dalam jurnalnya mengenai konseptualisasi proses pedagogi untuk membuat video edukasi yang efektif, penerapan proses produksi film mampu mencakup kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam pembuatan video edukasi yang efektif. Secara percobaan awal pada pembuatan video edukasi SEPI, proses ini cocok untuk digunakan dalam memproduksi video edukasi yang bukan berbentuk film dan efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan. Karena dapat membuat audiensi simpatik terhadap karakter yang menjelaskan.
