Abstract
Pangkalpinang is the capital city of Bangka Belitung island's province which is located on eastern area of Bangka island. Pangkalpinang has a lot potential tourism destinations, such as Coastal, Historical, Cultural, Culinary and Sports tourism. To introduce tourism in Pangkalpinang, promotion plans was made to inform target and to invite them to visit Pangkalpinang. The problem is promotions that has been done wasn't good enough to let visitors know about tourism destination in Pangkalpinang, causing the reduction of visitors. The research method on this planning using combined method, qualitative and quantitative which are Interview, Observations, Literature review, and spreading questionnaire. The planning methods that was used are orientation, strategy, ideas, designing, and implementation. The message to be delivered is "Enjoy the beauty of nature, cultural diversity, and the deliciousness of culinary. All the excitement can be enjoyed in a short time". The media that was used are ATL and BTL.
