Abstract

The internship was conducted at PT Gramedia Multi Utama in Internal Audit division. During the internship, there were several tasks to be done. There were reconcile bank account, reconcile receivable account, analyze the Financial Report, stock opname, correct the Credit Memo Debit Memo, classify UMP (Uang Muka Promosi) account, vouching and check the sales order of advertising. Generally, the tasks during the internship could be well executed, however there were some constraints found while performing tasks. The constraints were lack of knowledge of computer’s specification, unable to determine type of advertising and the broken barcode of the paper roll. Therefore, the auditors have to find the nearest specification of the computer related vouching activity, read and learn how the type of advertising differ and make a confirmation with the worker about the broken barcode of the paper roll.
