Abstract

Cinemasphere merupakan rumah produksi dan perusahaan digital visual effect. Melalui proses digitalisasi, visual effect merupakan suatu hal yang dapat diwujudkan pembuatannya secara lebih efisien. Saat ini perusahaan Cinemasphere sedang mengerjakan visual effect dan color grading untuk film Mantan Terindah. Selama magang penulis ditempatkan sebagai asisten vfx composer untuk membantu membuat visual effect di beberapa shot film Mantan Terindah. Proses magang yang dilakukan memakan waktu dua bulan yakni dari tanggal 18 Agustus hingga 19 Oktober 2014. Penulis berharap dengan laporan kerja magang ini, penulis bisa menyumbangkan ilmu, kepada segenap civitas akademik Universitas Multimedia Nusantara. Dalam membuat visual effect dibutuhkan disiplin yang tinggi untuk memenuhi quota waktu. Selama proses kerja magang penulis mendapatkan berbagai macam pengalaman dan pelajaran berharga sebagai bekal untuk mempersiapkan diri di dunia kerja.
